A BILL to extend the time for the city of Nutter Fort to meet as a levying body for the purpose of presenting to the voters of the city an election to consider an excess levy for the fire department in Nutter Fort, from the second Tuesday of March until the third Tuesday in May, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
NUTTER FORT EXCESS LEVY.

§1. Extended time for the city of Nutter Fort to meet as levying body for election to consider an excess levy for fire department.

The city of Nutter Fort is hereby authorized to extend the time for its meeting as a levying body, setting the levy rate and certifying its actions to the state tax commissioner from the second Tuesday in March, until the third Tuesday in May, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, for the purpose of submitting to the voters of Nutter Fort the consideration of an excess levy for fire department.


NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide that the time can be extended for the city of Nutter Fort to meet as a levying body for the purpose of presenting to the city voters an election to consider an excess levy for the fire department from the second Tuesday of March until the third Tuesday in May, 1997.
